A faith like Christ’s is not one of words only; because just saying that you have faith and not exhibiting any change evidences nothing and there is probably no faith at all. Saying you have faith and showing no evidence is like saying to a hungry and cold man, ‘go and be filled and warm.’ without providing him either food or warm clothing. Faith has to be accompanied by works—works of faith; you cannot evidence your faith without works.
