God’s plan for us is that we be perfect or complete in him. But perfection is not an easy undertaking and James gives us instruction and encouragement to stay the course—Lean on the cross. Need help? God knows that we do and he extends his help to us. Ask God, because perfection is beyond our power to bring about in ourselves. We have to lean on God.
