Following Christ is not easy; it was never sold to be the easiest way, but the only way to everlasting life. Peter encourages the believers to rejoice in all things, even in suffering, when you suffer for the cause of Christ. We must be motivated, that despite all that we face, we desire to be more like Christ right now and until he returns.
